The Irrigation Community Piedras-Guadiana installed the GRP Cat Ladders of IVERNA
IVERNA collaborates again in a new access adaptation project, this time for the Irritation Community Piedras-Guadiana. For the moment, five fiberglass cat ladders with a safety cage have been installed, allowing a much safer descent according to the Law of prevention of labor risks.
The IVERNA GRP cat ladders have legs and supports in polyamide and stainless-steel screws, being this the only metallic element of the ladder. Safety cage particularly stands out thanks to the rings molded by hand and placed every 500mm; its great width and number make possible to have a light of only 400mm. Consequently, the protection cage is much safer than the ones provided by other manufacturers, avoiding the risk of accidents in which the cage can become a potentially dangerous element.
The cat ladder of IVERNA is customized both in length and distance to the wall that in some cases is fitted in detail in the field. Other safety elements can also be added to the ladder, such as exit kits, handholds (retractable support bars) or anti-access hatches
What are the advantages of a fiberglass ladder (GRP)?
- Electrical insulation: Great resistance to electrical conductivity; dielectric material.
- Resistant to corrosion and oxidation in wet conditions and microorganisms.
- Resistant to ultraviolet exposure.
- The subsequent maintenance required by painted surfaces is eliminated.
- Higher stress / weight ratio than aluminum, steel and iron.
